Bad Ingredients Ruin Great Meals

Bad Ingredients Ruin Great Meals

Imagine having a world-renowned chef come in to make you your favorite dish, but with them only using ingredients that were out of date or spoiled. At the very least you are getting food that doesn't taste good, but there is also a strong likelihood that you will end up getting sick.

This sounds like an awful scenario, you are going to get exactly what you want. prepared by one of the very best, and it ends up with everything being ruined by something seemingly as simple as the ingredients.

Automations are something that can make our lives easier on so many different levels. They can start, nurture, and even grow relationships with the right setups. However, they can also be the bad ingredient preventing you from preparing your perfect dish. If you have an automation set like the photo above, you can poison a relationship if you have done something to upset people and then compound the insult. The photo below shows what actually happened.

They didn't show up to the meeting (who actually uses Google Meet on purpose 🧐 ) and they have been essentially wasting time for a couple of months with various issues of their own. So instead of them getting everything, they were looking for at a dream price (his words not mine,) they have inspired me to deliver a guide to the masses on how to be a good client while they will never become one at any price that has ever been discussed.

If you want a free copy of the How To Be a Good Client Manifesto, send me an email to Greg@harrisknockoutmedia.com

Anyway to wrap this up, don't have automation set for things that never happened without at least following up with an apology.

I Hope That You Are Not Overly Blessed With Stupid

Spamming Is Not Marketing

Spam is many things, but it is not effective as a sustainable or predictable marketing tactic or as a client acquisition strategy. I'm not sure when or where this became "the way" to so many misguided people, but this has to stop. LinkedIn has become a cesspool, and most Facebook friend requests are coming with an elongated F.O.R.M.-inspired pitch from someone who has had less experience than a virgin two months before prom night.

Fake rapport building --> Unnecessary call, zoom meeting, or worse --> Wasted time for them and their "prospect" that sees through all of their nonsense, or is blindsided and paying someone 5 chapters into their first Russell Brunson Secrets book and setting themselves up for disappointment.

There are ways to turn strangers into customers, but you have to go through the process of getting them to raise their hand and let you know they want to throw money at your amazing offer that solves a problem that they actually have.

7 Ways to Make Your Mess Your Message in Life and Your Marketing

  1. Embrace the mess: Instead of trying to hide or ignore your mess, embrace it and use it as inspiration. Nothing is permanent, unless you...
